I hate cards. You open them, stick them on a shelf where they do nothing but irritate you by falling over and gathering dust. That was until I received a Cardooo card to review!
Cardooo are a small book company with a book publishing background. They have created a range of interactive greeting cards, that contain games, puzzles, stories, stickers and much more, which will amuse kids from the moment they’re opened.
I received two cards from them. The first was a story card ‘The Enormous Turnip’ (which is a story we love!). The card is blank for you to include your own greeting so could be used for any occasion. The card is no bigger than a normal card so I reckon would be pretty standard postage cost. The story is beautifully illustrated and would be perfect for sharing at bedtime!
I really loved the second card which was a Christmas activity card. It contained 12 pages of puzzles, games and colouring activities as well as a fold out board game and stickers. As just a card it is beautiful but the little extras inside make it a really special gift for someone.
The company sells a range of cards for
all sorts of occasions, for a really reasonable price so I know I will be looking at using them for cards in the future!

my favorite book as a kid and too this very day is ‘the jolly postman’. i loved how you could interact with it and couldnt wait to open each envelope to see what letters and items he was delivering to all the different characters…it is one i now read to my children who love it jst as much xx

It’s been a tradition in our family since I was old enough to understand – and still is – to read “The Night Before Christmas” on Christmas Eve – without fail. So I guess that’s our family favourite!
My favourite book is actually one of Maisie’s favourites, Room on the broom (or as Maisie calls it nanny witch book as she thinks the witch is my mum) by Julia Donaldson (the gruffalo). I love how easy it is to tell the story and loads of different characters so am able to do different voices for each character. Me and Maisie both know the words by heart so don’t even need the book now to read it and also have loads of fun acting the book out ( I make a great frog and dragon, we also make Daddy and Kian join in with us). we have to look at the book every single day and also watch the DVD before bed
Our favourite book is calm down boris by sam lloyd. The book has a hand puppet within it and your hand moves its mouth. Boris is a fluffy,silly but loveable monster who gives sloppy kisses! This book keeps the childrens attention as they can interact with the puppet, they like to change their voices to how they think boris sounds like. The book gets read over and over again as the children like to take turns in being the boris puppet
The Magic Faraway Tree – Enid Blyon was defo my favourite author! Malory Towers was another fav! The Hungry Caterpillar was great too! My kids love it 🙂
Malory towers was amazing! I still have my books. We love the hungry caterpillar. After Christmas I will be doing a blog post with loads of Hungry caterpillar activities and crafts 🙂
